About Flare
Never miss a move again.
Who we are
Built by people who never knew their next move or after party when going out.
-
The Team
Two of us. One had the idea, the other came in to build it.
-
The City
Seattle first, because it is the one we actually go out in.
-
The Rooms
We know people who run some of the bigger nights in Washington.
-
The Group
Nobody goes out alone. The whole point is moving together.
Seattle · 10 . 21 . 26
One city first.
Flare opens in Seattle on 21 October 2026. One city, done properly, before anywhere else — because a map of a night out is only worth opening if the things on it are real, and that takes knowing the rooms.
We don’t think the answer is scrolling social media.
It’s knowing which night is worth showing up for.
Why we’re building it
The tools we have don’t help much.
Listings sites are stale by Friday. A flyer on Instagram gives you a name and a mood and leaves out the address. Word of mouth works, but only if you already know the right people — which is exactly the problem if you moved here last month.
So you scroll four apps, screenshot a poster, ask in a group chat, and end up going to the place you already know. The city is busier than that. You just can’t see it.
What a listing means here
Four things are true about every event on Flare.
If we can’t stand behind all four, it doesn’t go up.
- When it actually starts The door time comes from whoever is opening the door, not from a flyer. If it moves, the listing moves with it.
- Somewhere you can navigate to A real location, down to the cross street. Events that hold the address back show you when it drops, so you are not waiting on nothing.
- How full it already is Counts come from the venue’s own capacity, not from a number designed to rush you. When it is full, it says full.
- Who is behind it Every event has a named host who answers for it. That is the part that makes the other three worth anything.

How we got here
We are not working this out from the outside.
The idea started with Jayden. The rest of us came in to build it and to push it further than the first version of it went. We are in Washington, which is why Seattle is the city we are opening in rather than the city we picked off a list.
We know the people who run some of the larger nights here, we’ve shot promo for them, and we’ve watched how they fill a room. The four rules above come from seeing what a listing is worth when nobody stands behind it, and what it’s worth when somebody does.
Who it’s for
Four groups, one place instead of four.
- Partygoers Know what is actually on tonight while you can still go, not on Monday when someone brings it up. Free
- Hosts and promoters Get the right crowd through the door, with your name on the listing and the door time under your control. Hosting
- DJs Find the gig without needing to know somebody who knows somebody. Gigs
- Security The same, for the people who work the door. Work gets posted where the night is being planned. Gigs
What it costs
Finding the night is free.
The map, the events, check-ins and your friends — free, and staying that way. Paid plans are for people who want to shape the night or run it: hosts, promoters, DJs, and anyone organising more than themselves. The pricing page lists exactly what each one adds.
Questions
The ones we get asked.
Is Flare free to use?
Yes. Finding events, the map, check-ins and messaging your friends are all free. Flare Pass is $9.99/mo and Flare Crew is $24.99/mo — see pricing for what each adds.
Can I host an event on Flare?
Yes, and it doesn’t need a paid plan. Create an account and drop a flare with the details, time, capacity and ticket link.
Do I need an account to browse events?
You can look around as a guest. An account is what lets you check in, save events and see what your friends are going to.
When does it launch?
Seattle, 21 October 2026. Early access gets one email before we go live — no digest, no partner offers.
I run a venue. How do I get listed?
We’re taking venue and host listings for launch night now. Tell us what you run on the contact page and we’ll come back to you before doors.
