Most people never need to pay.
That is deliberate. Paying should mean you are doing more than showing up.

Frequently asked questions
Is Flare really free?
Yes. The map, events, check-ins and messaging your friends are free, and posting your own event does not need a paid plan either. Pass and Crew add tools on top; they do not unlock the basics.
When can I subscribe?
Flare opens in Seattle on 21 October 2026, and paid plans open with it. Join early access and we will email you once before doors.
Can I cancel?
Yes, from your account settings, and it takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. The terms set out how billing and renewals work.
I run a venue. Which plan is that?
Flare Crew. If you are listing for launch night, tell us what you run on the contact page and we will come back to you before doors.
Do prices change after launch?
Anyone who joins on these prices keeps them for as long as the plan stays active. If we change what a plan costs, we will say so before it happens, not after.
